About the Role
OH Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, an early-stage health tech venture building a psychologically informed digital platform to support children, families, clinicians, schools and residential care teams. Already in use in real-world care settings, the business is expanding rapidly and looking for a Technical Lead to help shape the platform from the ground up.
This is not a standard development role. You will work closely with a small founding team of clinicians, advising on what gets built and how, making architectural decisions, setting technical standards and helping a developer or small team build to a high standard.

What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding and advising on full-stack development across the platform
- Making and owning key architectural decisions
- Leading on compliance, GDPR and responsible data handling
- Mentoring and directing the developer(s) building day-to-day
- Translating clinical and psychological requirements into practical technical features
- Designing systems that can scale across families, clinicians and care organisations
- Developing goal tracking, reporting and insight-generation tools
What We Are Looking For
- Senior full-stack experience- front-end and back-end, web or mobile
- A background in health tech, edtech, social care or mental health platforms
- Deep understanding of GDPR, compliance and sensitive data handling
- Experience making architectural decisions and leading technically
- Strong grasp of APIs, databases and secure system design
- Ability to communicate clearly with a non-technical clinical team
- Comfortable working independently in an early-stage environment
A CS degree is useful but not essential- strong self-taught developers and bootcamp graduates with solid portfolios are equally welcome.
