Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, demonstrate good organisational skills, and have a welcoming demeanour. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting while delivering exceptional service to our patrons. Due to UK Licensing Law, only people over the age of 18 may be accepted for this role.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and accurately to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods by prioritising responsibilities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good understanding of responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve confidently and courteously
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Friendly, approachable personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holiday periods as required
