Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Nursery Room Leader to inspire and nurture young children in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a key leader within our team, you will oversee daily activities, promote a safe and stimulating atmosphere, and support the development of each child's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Your leadership will ensure that our nursery provides exceptional care and educational experiences that foster curiosity, confidence, and joy in every child.
Duties
- Lead and manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a smooth and engaging environment for children and staff
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing training to maintain high standards of childcare
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incident reports
- Promote teamwork within the nursery to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages professional growth
Requirements
- Proven management and leadership experience in early childhood education or childcare settings
- Extensive experience working with children in a nursery or preschool environment
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative team environment
- Valid childcare qualifications or certifications relevant to nursery management
- A clean driving license is preferred for transporting children or supporting nursery logistics when needed

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,493.28 per year
Work Location: In person
