Role Summary
To work in conjunction with other category designers and buyers to create a collection for a
category and to follow the product through to Final Production Standard sample stage.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design of multi product garments for all phases and seasons
- Research and develop new fabrics in line with trend and brand direction.
- Create colour palette for the range.
- Illustrate garments to presentation and specification pack standard.
- Create Specification Packs to forward to suppliers for development of garment samples.
- Present ranges to team and CEO for sign off and adjustments.
- Adjust and design graphics applicable to garments.
- Brief Graphic Design with range direction and focal points as appropriate.
- Research themes and directions for following collections.
- Create and present trend packs, Mood Boards, and forecasts for following seasons.
- Follow development of samples through fit meetings to sealer stage
Skills and Experience
- Degree or equivalent in Fashion based subject.
- Experience at Designer level.
- Experience of Menswear.
