Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team in Manchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. All positions are paid, ensuring you are compensated for your valuable contribution from day one.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Support tradespeople and supervisors with general site tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris and waste
- Help with the transportation of materials around the site as needed
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
- Assist in setting up scaffolding, barriers, and signage for site safety
- Support with basic manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials under supervision
Skills
- Valid CSCS card demonstrating health and safety awareness on construction sites
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
- Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks and long periods of standing or walking
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards
- Basic understanding of construction site procedures is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities on-site
- A full UK Driving Licence
