Early Years Educator – Baby Room
Working Hours: Full-time 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am and 7:00pm
Salary: £28730.00–£30,188.60 per year, depending on qualifications and experience

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our dedicated Baby Room team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Years professional with at least 2 years’ experience working with babies and young children, who is passionate about providing high-quality care, learning and development in a nurturing and child-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care for babies, supporting their individual routines and needs.
- Act as a Key Person, building strong and positive relationships with children and their families.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Support babies’ development through play, exploration, sensory experiences and child-led learning.
- Observe, assess and record children’s learning and development.
- Maintain accurate daily records, including meals, sleep, nappies and bottle feeds.
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Attend staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities.
- Support children through settling-in and transition periods.
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent – essential.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an early years setting.
- Experience working with babies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Warm, caring and patient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, organised and committed to high standards of care.
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development.
