Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Middleton, Manchester – M24
Salary: £33,704 – £34,744 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
Shift Pattern: 1 on 2 off with a minimum of 8 sleeps per month
Children: 3 young people – siblings aged 9, 11 and 14
Driver: Essential
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a well-established and supportive children’s residential care organisation in Middleton.
The home provides care for three siblings aged 9, 11 and 14, offering a stable, nurturing and supportive environment where the children can feel safe, develop positive relationships and reach their full potential.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation with five children’s homes, supported by an experienced Registered Manager and a strong team around you.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within a children’s residential care setting
- Experience at Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader level
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s care
- The ability to lead, motivate and support a team
- A calm, consistent and nurturing approach
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine commitment to supporting children’s emotional and developmental needs
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- Relevant qualifications in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare are desirable and will influence the salary offered
