Timber Yard Operative/Driver
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Timber Yard Operative/Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for efficiently handling timber materials, operating forklifts, and safely transporting goods to our customers.
Main Duties
- Delivering timber and materials to customers
- Picking and preparing customer orders
Other Duties
- Serving customers efficiently and professionally & assisting loading if needed
- Operating yard equipment safely – Training will be given
- Keeping the timber yard clean, tidy and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
About You
- Previous timber yard, warehouse or manual handling experience in a construction or timber environment is highly desirable
- Clean Driving Licence
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Proven experience operating forklifts preferred (certification required)
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 47.5 per week
