London Junior IT Consultant (1-Year Contract)

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior IT Consultant to provide on-site IT consulting and infrastructure support for an international corporate client in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with networking and IT support experience who wants to develop their skills in enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide network and system maintenance support and technical guidance.
- Assist with network configuration, changes, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure IT operations comply with Head Office policies and standards.
- Perform routine inspections of the communication/server room facilities.
- Support IT infrastructure and office technology projects.
- Participate in network security reviews and best practice implementation.
- Provide helpdesk consultation and user support.
- Assist with general IT and office operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Network Support (graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent networking knowledge.
- Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
- Familiarity with switches, routers, and firewall fundamentals.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract (12 months)
Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
