POSITION SUMMARY
Nail Technician
Provide nail care service to our guests in a luxury spa. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Assess guest needs, inquire about contraindications, and examine skin or nails to evaluate condition, appearance, and appropriateness of scheduled service. Determine and advise guests on proper nail care. Demonstrate, promote, and sell spa/salon retail products. Answer questions about general property information and amenities. Check with guest to ensure continued comfort throughout service. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
- The candidate must have certification from a recognized Beauty School or apprenticeship;
- At least one year experience in a similar position in hospitality or salon industry;
- Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar in English;
- Ability to provide legible communication;
- Ability to learn all services required in the Spa; certification in cosmetology services
- Ability to recommend and successfully sell skin care products
