We’re looking for individuals with the drive and vision to provide leadership and direction to our front-line operational delivery teams.
As a Team Leader and member of the Area Leadership Group, you will be accountable for the performance, wellbeing and development of your team and for ensuring the delivery of environmental outcomes, excellent customer service and safe operational performance across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
You will:
Provide visible, inclusive leadership to create a positive, high-performing team culture.
Motivate, coach and develop colleagues to achieve their full potential.
Manage individual and collective performance, addressing issues and recognising success.
Lead the delivery of operational objectives and environmental outcomes within your area of responsibility.
Plan and prioritise resources to balance planned work, emerging priorities and incident response requirements.
Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with Environment Agency policies and procedures.
Our people are our greatest asset, and their safety, wellbeing and development are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing others, building inclusive team cultures and enabling colleagues to perform at their best and thrive.
While this role is listed as full time, other working patterns can be considered.
