Overview
We are seeking an proactive, experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient logistics processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in, and have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse and logistic operations and warehouse management systems. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment and would suit someone with a strong work ethic and real attention to detail. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process all incoming deliveries
- Flag and deal with stock shortages or damages promptly
- Process customer returns and warranties efficiently
- Handle all returns to suppliers
- Ensure all areas of the warehouse are organised and tidy so parts can be easily located
- Implement process improvements to optimise workflow and reduce costs
- Ensure stock taking is accurate. Manage the organisation of stock storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
Skills and Experience
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of warehouse management and coordination (not necessarily within the automotive sector
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work unsupervised, use initiative, and take ownership of tasks
- Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple priorities
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation
- Physically fit and able to handle materials safely
- Good I.T. skills
Pay: £32,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
