About Parkers
Parkers is a proudly independent, family-owned and family-run estate agency with two branches serving the communities of Witney and Eynsham. We have built our reputation on honest advice, personal service and an intimate knowledge of the local property market. As a family business, we value long-term relationships — with our clients, our vendors, and the people who work with us.
We are looking to strengthen our Eynsham team with an experienced Valuer or Senior Valuer who shares our passion for property and our commitment to doing right by every client.
The Role
This is a pivotal, client-facing role based in our Eynsham branch. You will be responsible for winning new instructions through market appraisals, advising vendors on pricing and presentation, and playing a leading part in driving the branch’s sales pipeline. We are open to applications at both Valuer and Senior Valuer level — the right package will be matched to your experience.
For a Senior Valuer, the role will carry greater autonomy in pricing strategy and vendor negotiation, a mentoring role for newer team members, and closer involvement in shaping branch sales strategy alongside the Branch Manager.
As part of a two-branch family business, flexibility is at the heart of how we operate. There will be occasions where you are asked to support our Witney branch — whether covering valuations, viewings or providing additional support during busy periods. We are one team across two offices, and a collaborative, can-do attitude is essential to making that work well.
Key Responsibilities
Valuations & Instructions
- Carry out residential market appraisals, providing accurate, well-researched valuations that win the trust and instruction of vendors
- Convert appraisals into instructions through confident, consultative selling — not just price promises
- Advise vendors on presentation, pricing strategy and marketing to achieve the best possible outcome
- Maintain a strong, visible presence in the local market, generating leads and building the branch’s reputation
Sales & Client Management
- Manage your own pipeline of instructions through to sale, exchange and completion
- Conduct viewings, negotiate offers and manage vendor and buyer expectations throughout the process
- Provide regular, proactive updates to vendors, keeping them informed and reassured at every stage
- Identify and follow up on cross-selling opportunities, including with our Witney branch where relevant
Branch Contribution
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to help drive overall branch performance against targets
- Support the Witney branch as required by the needs of the business, including cross-cover for valuations, viewings or staffing
- Contribute market knowledge and feedback to support pricing decisions and stock-win strategy
Senior Valuer — Additional Responsibilities
- Mentor and support less experienced negotiators and valuers within the branch
- Take a lead role on higher-value or more complex instructions
