Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties, including preparing specialised coffee beverages if needed
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles, ideally within a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards
- Barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
- A proactive approach to customer service and teamwork
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant operations is beneficial
