Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables or bar areas with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Take accurate orders for drinks and food, ensuring timely and correct delivery
- Serve beverages responsibly, including alcohol, while adhering to food safety and responsible serving guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, following health and safety standards
- Manage guest inquiries promptly, providing exceptional guest services that foster repeat visits
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on serving and guest interaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks and assist kitchen staff when required
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively
- Basic math proficiency for order accuracy, billing, and cash handling
- Previous experience in culinary or kitchen settings is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food-related tasks
