Ready to take your lettings career to the next level? A growing property company with a strong presence across lettings, construction, and investment is expanding its residential lettings team and looking for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to come on board.
Based in the heart of Birmingham city centre, you'll join a business that's moving fast, values its people, and offers genuine scope for progression.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days will look the same, but your focus will be on matching great tenants with great properties — and keeping landlords, applicants, and colleagues happy along the way.
Property & Viewings
- Host viewings across the city centre and surrounding areas, showcasing properties with confidence and professionalism
- Complete initial inspections, pre-release checks, and check-in/check-out appointments
- Manage the key release process end to end
- Know your patch — be ready to speak knowledgeably about central Birmingham and nearby postcodes
Landlords, Tenants & Deals
- Build genuine, lasting relationships with landlords and get to grips with what they need
- Source suitable properties for applicants and match them thoughtfully
- Screen prospective tenants — references, background checks, affordability
- Negotiate fair terms between both parties and guide tenants through the application journey
- Hit (and beat) your sales targets, and support teammates in doing the same
- Offer relevant insurance products to landlords and tenants where appropriate
Marketing & Admin
- List and promote properties on Rightmove and Zoopla (prior experience is a must)
- Manage your own diary — viewings, valuations, callbacks, feedback calls
- Process applications, chase referencing, and keep everyone in the loop
- Handle enquiries by phone, email, and face to face
- Register applicants, update the database, print reports, and action overnight voicemails
- Ensure files are check-in ready 24 hours ahead of move-in
- Provide general office admin support and run occasional document deliveries
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- Solid experience as a Lettings Negotiator, ideally with some property management background
- Hands-on experience marketing via Rightmove and Zoopla
- Full, clean UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good understanding of lettings processes and current regulations

- Sharp organisational skills and the flexibility to work off-site when needed
