We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Kitchen Cook to join our team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling
- Organise ingredients and kitchen tools to optimise workflow
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
- Clean and sanitise work stations, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Support the team during busy periods, assisting with serving when required
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst working individually
- Good understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary
