An exciting opportunity has arisen within a dog walking company! We are looking for a reliable, responsible Assistant Dog Walker to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for someone who holds a full, clean driving licence and is ready to step up and cover routes when needed. What Will You Be Doing?
- Supporting our walking team Monday to Friday, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
- On days you're covering a driving route, hours run Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- Depending on the number of dogs to be walked, assisting with packs of 4 to 6 dogs at a time, both on and off-lead.
- Our packs are diverse, including dogs of different breeds, sizes, and ages, with a focus on creating great synergy within each pack.
- Collecting and dropping dogs from their homes between walks.
- Covering driving routes when required, using a company-provided van, and stepping into the lead walker role for that route.
- Taking photos and videos during walks to share with clients.
- Cleaning the dogs before returning them home using our equipment.
- Boarding dogs at your home when needed, offering additional earning opportunities (this is optional, not essential if you can't have dogs at your home).
- Weekend availability can provide opportunities for extra income.
What Do We Offer?
- A flat fee of £60 per day as an Assistant Dog Walker.
- £120 per day on days you cover a driving route (this can happen most months, though not every month).
- A company van is provided on any day you're covering a driving route.
- An extra £25 per day for solo walks, which are available on a daily basis.
- Additional income potential through boarding dogs and weekend walks.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Experience with dogs is a MUST – whether through personal experience, growing up with dogs, or previous dog-walking jobs.
- A committed, responsible, and reliable driver with a clean, full driving licence, ready to cover routes as needed.
- Good English writing and speaking skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Access to a phone with messaging services and a good camera.
- Based in NW or W London, within a reasonable distance of Hampstead Heath or Regent's Park for an easy commute.
