Pay Rates
Standard PAYE
- Days (Monday to Friday): £18.00 per hour
- Nights (After 6:00pm, Monday to Friday): £19.00 per hour
PAYE with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay
- Days (Monday to Friday): £20.17 per hour
- Nights (After 6:00pm, Monday to Friday): £21.29 per hour
About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) ADR Drivers for a range of flexible assignments, working Monday to Friday on either day or night shifts.
Whether you're looking for occasional ad hoc work, part-time hours, or a full-time ongoing assignment, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
You'll be carrying out a mixture of pallet deliveries on a curtain-sider vehicle covering deliveries across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking consistent, well-paid work with flexibility.
Shift Patterns
- Various start times available
- Monday to Friday
- Day and night shifts available
- Typical shift length of 8–12 hours
- Pallet deliveries, no handball required
- Curtain sider deliveries
- ADR Packages required (2-6 & 8-9)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) ADR vehicles in line with transport legislation and company procedures.
- Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Accurately complete all required driver paperwork and records.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Comply with Driver Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
Requirements
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Valid ADR License with packages.
- Minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.
- Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements).
- Previous store delivery experience is beneficial but not essential.
