V12 Sports and Classics – Hinckley
V12 Sports and Classics is looking for a highly organised, confident and hands-on Valeting & Vehicle Logistics Manager to take control of a team of 12 valeters at our busy Hinckley operation.
This is not a desk-based management role. We need a strong operational leader who can manage people firmly and fairly, maintain high presentation standards and ensure vehicles, staff and daily logistics are organised efficiently.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the valeting team and coordinating vehicle movements between our main dealership, storage locations, preparation centre and other required destinations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, supervising and motivating a team of 12 valeters
- Allocating daily workloads and monitoring individual performance
- Ensuring vehicles are cleaned, prepared and presented to V12’s required standards
- Prioritising sold vehicles, customer collections, new stock and showroom vehicles
- Planning and coordinating vehicle movements across the Hinckley operation
- Ensuring vehicles are in the correct location and ready at the required time
- Organising drivers, collections, deliveries and internal vehicle movements
- Working closely with the sales, preparation and handover teams
- Maintaining accurate vehicle-location and movement records
- Monitoring attendance, punctuality, productivity and quality
- Conducting daily team briefings and setting clear priorities
- Carrying out regular quality inspections of completed vehicles
- Managing valeting products, equipment and stock levels
- Identifying delays or operational problems and resolving them quickly
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Reporting performance and operational issues to senior management
The Person We Need

- Focused on delivering consistently high vehicle-presentation standards
- An excellent communicator who gives clear instructions
- Proactive, decisive and able to solve problems without constant supervision
- Willing to be visible, hands-on and present throughout the operation
- Experienced in automotive valeting, vehicle preparation, logistics, transport or a similar operational environment
- Competent with basic computer systems, spreadsheets and record-keeping
- The holder of a full UK driving licence
