Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following safety standards and technical specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise electrical work on various systems and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions before they escalate
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to plan and execute electrical installations efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for accountability and future reference
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on work involving wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and system repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulatory compliance in all tasks undertaken
