Rotating Shift Days/Afternoons
Week 1 : Monday - Thursday 6.00 - 14.00, Friday 6.00 - 13.15
Week2 : Monday - Thursday 14.00 - 22.00, Friday 13.15 - 20.30
Duties
- Pasting operator must be trained on all pasting belts
- Understanding quality standards and specifications
- Inspecting products
- Ensuring products align with company an legal standards
- Training and assisting new staff on these roles
- Multifunctional role across all departments
- Observing and following company safety regulations
- Pasting operator is responsible to carry out pre-production checks, Health and Safety, guard checks are completed before the oven is started, record, and report any failures
- Pasting operator must complete all documentations associated with the role
- Record, report, and take action on any out of specification results. Diagnose and resolve operating problems
- Working from the internal specifications ensures that the baked wafer and cream / caramel recipe codes are correct for the book being manufacture, set up the pasting belt to the required book manufacture
- Be capable of altering pipework to ensure that the cream is being supplied to the hopper from the right cream holding tank
- · Carry out product changeovers, ensure that all cream has been ejected from the hopper, ensuring that all cream bins and waste have been removed from the line, and that all equipment and belts have been cleaned and verified before the start of the next production
- Communicate with the Cream Floor regarding product changeover and any issues relating to the cream also need to inform Key- op/Oven op with any issues regarding the wafer/book weights
- Have the ability to strip down clean and reassemble depositor hopper, ensuring that the cheeks, front and back knives are checked and assembled correctly, any failures should be recorded and reported to the key operator. Clean and disinfect all short removable pipes and couplings
- Pasting operator must carry out quality checks on production books
- Pasting operator must be able to adjust this can include fridge compressor, fridge temperatures
- Raise and lower cream head, adjust speed of the belt, roller press
- Have the ability to operate the tonelli boat hoist
- Assist a strip down, clean and sanitize the guttridge screw feeder
- Pasting operator must be trained in CCP (sieve)
- Carry out cleaning tasks directed by the key-operator
- Follow ‘clean –as-you-go’ principles to ensure the surrounding area is clean and tidy at all times
- Attend and be receptive to any training required for this role

- Previous experience working in food manufacturing industry.

- Food Safety Level 2
