Foundation Trainee Pharmacist (2026–2027)

Please note: This vacancy is only open to UK pharmacy graduates who are eligible to undertake their Foundation Training Year with the GPhC.
If you’ve already accepted a training place but are looking for a better opportunity due to location, travel, or other reasons, we may be able to support you with transferring your training placement through Oriel, where eligible.
We are not able to sponsor Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visas.
About Us
Pharmacy Express is a busy, independent community pharmacy located in Wood Green, London N22, just a short walk from Wood Green Underground Station.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care and creating a supportive learning environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Foundation Trainee Pharmacist who is passionate about community pharmacy and keen to develop into a confident, patient-focused pharmacist.
Our Foundation Training Programme
Our structured programme is designed to help you successfully complete your Foundation Training Year while developing the skills and confidence needed for your future career.
You will:
- Gain valuable hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy.
- Work alongside an experienced Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP)/Designated Supervisor.
- Develop the knowledge and competencies required by the GPhC.
- Receive structured support throughout your training.
- Be enrolled on the ProPharmace Foundation Training Programme.
Training Includes
The ProPharmace programme provides comprehensive training covering:
- Clinical pharmacy
- Law and ethics
- Drug Tariff
- OTC consultations
- First Aid
- GPhC Registration Assessment preparation
- Mock exams and revision workshops
