Structural Repairs is a specialist structural repair and strengthening contractor working across rail, highways, water, defence, marine and commercial infrastructure throughout the UK.
We're looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our operational team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across project planning, procurement, compliance, health & safety, documentation and client support within a growing business.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion.
You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Clients, Suppliers and Subcontractors, ensuring information is accurate, projects remain compliant and operational activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling and resource coordination.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RAMS and Safe Systems of Work.
- Coordinate procurement activities and supplier deliveries.
- Assist with site mobilisation and project set-up.
- Maintain training records and competency matrices.
- Coordinate health & safety documentation and compliance requirements.
- Assist with ISO systems, audits and accreditation processes.
- Produce O&M manuals and handover documentation.
- Support PQQ submissions and tender documentation.
- Coordinate aftercare, snagging and maintenance activities.
- Monitor project costs, purchase orders and operational records.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Identify potential risks and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Desirable Experience
Experience within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure would be advantageous, particularly in areas such as:
- Project coordination
- Operations administration
- Health & Safety documentation
- Procurement
- Compliance
- Project support
Knowledge of RAMS, ISO standards, training compliance or PQQ submissions would also be beneficial.
Qualifications
Essential
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate.
- HNC/HND in Construction, Civil Engineering or Building (desirable).
