We're looking for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join our expanding team in Leigh-on-Sea. If you have at least two years' experience working within an accountancy practice and are looking to progress your career in a supportive and professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll be involved in a wide range of accounting duties, including:
- Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Nominal Ledger reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- CIS Returns
- Assisting Senior Accountants with client accounts and general practice work
- Supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Essential
- At least 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
- Good working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and other cloud accounting software
- Experience with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Payroll and CIS Returns
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
Desirable
- AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Experience working with a varied client portfolio
