Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching to ensure vibrant and healthy grounds.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and ground equipment safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to promote optimal plant health.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment like excavators or other machinery.
- Help with groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, and weed control to maintain pristine outdoor areas.
- Contribute to construction projects by assisting with site preparation, fencing, or planting schemes under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or strong interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Experience with irrigation systems or construction projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with using small machinery such as excavators or similar equipment is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Relevant certifications or training in landscaping, horticulture or related fields are beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
