Overview
Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of a range of commercial and domestic air conditioning systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Complete commissioning, testing and system checks.
- Maintain accurate service reports, job sheets and F-Gas records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations.
- Provide professional customer service when working on client sites.
- Participate in overtime and call-out rotas where required.
Requirements
- F-Gas Category 1 certification – essential.
- Full UK driving license - essential.
- NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or HVAC technician with a solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and control mechanisms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CSCS, IPAF, PASMA or manufacturer training would be advantageous.
