WonderPhil’s Café & Bistro – Blackburn
WonderPhil’s Café & Bistro is looking for an experienced full or part time (hours to be discussed ) Chef to join our friendly, independent café team. This role is ideal for someone looking for evening and weekend work in a busy but supportive kitchen environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: Days , Evenings & weekends (flexibility required) Saturday and Sunday daytime are definite
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality café/bistro dishes
- Supporting occasional events
- Ensuring food is prepared to a consistent standard
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
- Assisting with prep, stock rotation and kitchen duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a chef
- Ability to work well under pressure in a small kitchen
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Passion for good food and presentation
- Food Hygiene Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
