About the Role
The Inventory Controller (Analyst) supports the Inventory Control Manager in maintaining stock accuracy and inventory integrity. The role combines hands-on cycle counting and investigations with analytical work, producing the reporting and analysis that keeps inventory healthy and accurate
What You'll Do
- Carry out the cycle count programme and record results accurately.
- Investigate stock variances and discrepancies and help find root causes.
- Support tax stamp inventory control and record keeping.
- Reconcile returns and adjust stock accurately.
- Produce inventory reports, including ageing and slow-moving stock analysis.
- Maintain location accuracy and support bin location control.
- Support dead stock analysis and SKU rationalisation reviews.
- Help maintain audit readiness and compliance.
- Any other reasonable task assigned by your line manager.
Skills & Experience
- Inventory control, stock or analyst experience in warehouse / FMCG.
- Strong ERP / WMS skills and confident with data and reporting (Excel etc.).
- Good understanding of cycle counting and stock accuracy.
- Analytical, accurate and methodical.
- Able to investigate issues and explain findings clearly.
- Awareness of tax stamp / duty control an advantage.
