The Team
The Casework Team are here to help students when things are not going right, whether that's related to their University experience or because of another member of our University community. Depending on the nature of the concern there will be different options and support available.
The role
This managerial role, reporting into Head of Governance and Compliance, will lead the management of student casework, providing expert advice on academic appeals, complaints, disciplinary matters, academic misconduct and related regulatory issues. The role plays a key role in ensuring fair, timely and compliant case management, while contributing to the ongoing development of university policies, procedures and governance.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the University, the Students’ Union and external bodies, lead a small team of two investigators, two administrators and a graduate intern, support University committees, and help drive continuous improvement in student casework processes.
Required skills and experience
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks, outstanding judgement, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
