At The Base, we are building a premium café–restaurant and neighbourhood lounge in the heart of Islington, designed around quality, craft, and community, from morning coffee and brunch through to evening dining and drinks.
We are looking for confident, service-driven Waiters, Waitress', Barista's and Runners to contribute to the restaurant team by delivering exceptional standards, and helping shape a refined café–restaurant experience.
The Role
- Support the team across barista, table service, and guest experience
- Maintain consistently high standards across food, drink, service, and food safety.
- Deliver warm, polished hospitality
- Build strong relationships within the local community
- Contribute to the team by working toward achieving performance targets.
About You
- 1+ years experience as a Waiter/ Waitress/ Runner / Barista within a quality-led environment
- Some barista experience with an eye for detail
- Confident in table service, with good food knowledge and some wine understanding
- Excellent communication and warm presence on the floor or bar.
- Work cleanly and take pride in service and maintaining high standards on your station.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, quality, and people
- Comfortable working a mix of daytime and evening shifts
