About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and target-driven Sales Manager to grow membership of the Aviation Supply Chain platform .Your focus will be identifying businesses that should be on the platform and converting them into paying members by clearly communicating the value of registration - including increased visibility, access to relevant opportunities, and direct connection to decision-makers across UK airports. You will proactively generate new business, engage senior contacts, and sell the benefits of becoming a member through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and face-to-face meetings. This is a role for someone who enjoys hunting for opportunities, building relationships, and confidently closing new business .
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target businesses that would benefit from joining Aviation Supply Chain
- Speak to decision-makers and clearly sell the value of membership
- Generate new member sign-ups through proactive outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, meetings)
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members
- Arrange and attend meetings to present the platform and close new business
- Attend industry events to generate leads and promote ASC
- Consistently achieve and exceed membership sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity
Person Specification
- Energetic, ambitious, and highly target-driven
- Strong ability to sell value and close new business
- Confident communicator across phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person
- Proactive self-starter who enjoys finding opportunities
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers
- Organised, resilient, and motivated by targets
- Experience in B2B sales or lead generation is desirable
- Aviation industry experience would be advantageous
