We are seeking an experienced massage therapist to provide professional massage services to clients in a relaxing and therapeutic environment. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and relaxation massages.
- Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their specific requirements and preferences before treatment.
- Maintain a clean, organised treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Provide advice on post-massage care and recommend suitable follow-up treatments if necessary.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained in good condition and replenished as needed.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a massage therapist with relevant certifications or licences.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen carefully to clients’ concerns.
- Ability to create a calming environment that promotes relaxation and healing.
- Organised, punctual, and reliable with a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends if required.
- Must be able to work in compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
