Temporary Bank Specialist Tissue Viability Nurse- Band 6 or Band 7
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
We are seeking an experienced and motivated band 6 or band 7 Specialist Tissue Viability Nurse to join our team on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will provide a specialist nursing service for patients with complex wounds and associated healthcare needs. You will undertake comprehensive patient assessments, accurately document clinical outcomes within the electronic patient record system, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a specialist nursing service for patients with complex wounds and associated healthcare needs.
Undertake comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate clinical documentation within the electronic patient record system.
Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, providing evidence-based advice and recommendations to support holistic patient care.
Develop, implement, and communicate evidence-based treatment plans to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective care.
Promote best practice in tissue viability and wound management, contributing to positive patient outcomes.
Essential/Desirable Experience:
Registered Nurse with relevant Tissue Viability/Wound Care experience.
Experience working as a Community Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse is highly desirable.
Candidates with similar specialist Tissue Viability experience gained within an acute hospital setting will also be considered.
Excellent assessment, communication, and multidisciplinary working skills.
Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
