Job description
This role is an exciting opportunity for a new or recent Graduate, with a RICS accredited Land Management degree, to join the Estate team in the Arundel Estate office. Within this role, you will be responsible for providing property and Estate management support within a fast paced and very varied role across a large rural Estate. The Estate includes c. 14,000 acres of land, managed let property (c. 150 residential 50 commercial), in hand an tenanted farms and significant sporting enterprises. There will be the opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience across all areas of The Estate.
Responsibilities:
· Tenant and contractor liaison, including booking in property maintenance work and arranging property inspections.
· Assisting with Agricultural, Commercial and residential rent reviews
· Correspondence with tenants, contractors and other teams within The Estate.
· Dealing with tenant matters across the agricultural, residential and commercial property portfolio.
· To assist with the co-ordination and undertake an annual property inspection program
· Assisting with compliance requirements for properties across The Estate (H&S, property compliance, insurance risk).
· Desire to work towards CAAV/RICS accreditation.
Essential skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically work and excel.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to address challenges and find solutions
· Highly organised and motivated to complete tasks
The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the rural sector, and an understanding of compliance requirements for rental properties. The candidate will also have a positive outlook, will value team work, customer service and be committed to personal development
The successful applicant will be enrolled onto the Savills, best in sector, APC training programme. You will have an APC supervisor and counsellor who support and guide you throughout the two year training programme. They will discuss your training and experience needs at regular progress reviews, ensuring you receive the support you require.
This is a full-time position (Mon-Fri) based on site at Estate Office in Arundel, West Sussex. Applications are currently being accepted for this role.
