Summary
The Governors at Coates Lane Primary School are looking to recruit an Early Years apprentice to work within our Reception class. Coates Lane Primary School is a thriving school, set int he beautiful town of Barnoldswick with amazing outdoor areas. You will work as part of a team under the direction of our Reception class teacher. Your main role will be to support children in achieving their full potential.
The successful candidate will be required to:

- Have the ability to form good relationships with our children, parents and colleagues
- Work to the relevant apprenticeship standard/framework and complete work in a timely manner

The apprentice may be required to undertake any of the duties normally associated with a Teaching Assistant to support with their training and development. As part of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to work towards completing the apprenticeship framework Level 3.

Essential Qualifications
Mandatory functional skills assessments prior to enrolment onto the apprenticeship
Desirable Qualifications
Maths and English GCSE pass.
Desirable Experience
Any previous work with children or work experience is a school or nursery setting.
