Touch Building Services is a leading M&E construction specialist delivering high‑quality mechanical and electrical installations across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. With a strong reputation for technical excellence, safety, and reliability, we are expanding and looking to add a commercial/industrial Plumber/Pipefitter to our mechanical team working on projects across the south coast to support continued growth.
Key Activities include:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing and pipework systems, including hot and cold water services, heating systems, drainage, and associated fixtures.
- Measure, cut, bend and assemble pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
- Install valves, supports, brackets and insulation in line with manufacturer guidance and industry standards.
- Conduct system testing, including pressure testing, leak detection and functional checks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical and electrical colleagues to deliver integrated solutions
- Identify and report any issues, risks, or defects promptly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- Recognised plumbing or pipefitting qualification, e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in commercial, industrial or residential plumbing/pipefitting installations.
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
