Sales Assistant – Motorcycles & Powersports

We’re looking for a confident, outgoing Sales Assistant to join the team at Go Off-Road.
This isn’t just a standard retail job. You’ll be selling everything from road bikes and off-road bikes to electric motorcycles, kids bikes, quads, parts and accessories.
We want someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people, isn’t afraid to approach customers and can turn enquiries into sales.
What you’ll be doing
- Welcoming customers into the showroom and finding out what they’re looking for
- Selling motorcycles, electric bikes, quads and other powersports products
- Handling phone, online and showroom enquiries
- Following up leads and helping turn enquiries into sales
- Talking customers through different models, specifications and options
- Explaining finance options and helping customers through the buying process
- Selling accessories, parts and additional products
- Keeping the showroom looking sharp and bikes presented properly
- Helping with events, test ride days and promotional activity
- Building relationships with customers and providing a great experience from enquiry through to collection
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident and comfortable talking to customers
- Naturally sales-minded and motivated by targets
- Reliable, responsible and organised
- Comfortable dealing with high-value purchases
- Good on the phone as well as face-to-face
- Able to learn product specifications and explain them simply
- Comfortable using computers and responding to online enquiries
- Willing to get stuck in and help the wider team when needed
Previous sales or retail experience would be a big advantage, particularly within motorcycles, automotive, powersports or a similar environment, but attitude and personality are just as important.
A genuine interest in bikes, motorsport or anything with an engine is obviously a massive bonus.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.

We’re a growing powersports dealership selling a wide range of road, off-road and electric motorcycles, quads, kids bikes, parts and accessories.
We’re looking for someone who wants to become a proper part of the team, learn the products, build relationships with customers and ultimately sell bikes.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
