Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our care facility. This pivotal role involves ensuring the highest standards of patient and resident care, managing staff teams, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in senior care environments, including assisted living, dementia care, hospice, or nursing home settings. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the care facility’s operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management to build a motivated and skilled team
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents or clients, incorporating expertise in dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, medication administration, and case management
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including nursing home procedures, laboratory testing, medical imaging, and anatomy knowledge
- Monitor daily activities to ensure high levels of patient safety, dignity, and comfort across services such as assisted living, hospice care, home care, and specialized pediatric support like toddler or disabled individuals’ care
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident records, incident reports, medication logs, and regulatory compliance reports
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork among staff members while engaging with residents’ families to ensure their needs are met
Experience
- Proven experience in senior care settings such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes
- Supervising or team management experience within healthcare or social services environments
- Familiarity with dementia care practices including Alzheimer’s disease management
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care procedures
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Background in managing compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Strong understanding of anatomy, laboratory procedures, medical imaging techniques, and hospice or palliative care practices
