An experienced care provider is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee two residential services supporting adults with Learning Disabilities in Palmers Green, Enfield, North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader with strong CQC knowledge to drive quality, compliance and service improvement across both homes.
The successful candidate will take full operational responsibility for the services, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership of staff teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall operational management of both residential services
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
- Lead on quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities and professionals
- Staff leadership including recruitment, supervision, appraisals and training
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and person-centred support
- Monitor service performance, occupancy and budgets
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and regulatory requirements are met
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and stakeholders
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate service documentation
Requirements
- QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or RMA / equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Registered Manager role within a Learning Disabilities setting
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection framework
- Experience managing staff teams and driving service improvements
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across two services
- Strong Knowledge & experience with Learning Disabilities
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and how to achieve and maintain the best you can within your service
