Job Summary
Deliver high quality PE lessons, lead after school clubs, support in classrooms as a TA, and help run multi-activity holiday camps. Coach multiple sports (football, basketball, dodgeball, hockey) and create inclusive sessions where every child succeeds.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum aligned PE lessons.
- Lead lunchtime/after school clubs across multiple sports.
- Adapt for different ages/abilities; promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Support teachers as a TA; reinforce learning and behaviour.
- Track progress; share clear feedback with pupils and parents.
- Organise fixtures/festivals; ensure safety and rules are understood.
- Contribute to holiday camps and in house competitions.
Requirements
- Experience coaching children (school/club/camps).
- Confident across multiple sports (football, basketball, dodgeball, hockey).
- Strong behaviour management and communication.
- Organised, punctual; able to travel between sites.
- Clear DBS (or willing to obtain) before start.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
- First Aid and relevant coaching/TA qualifications preferred.
