St Luke's Hospice is looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Bank Staff Nurse Team within the In Patient Centre.
As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality, holistic nursing care to patients with complex palliative and end of life care needs, ensuring dignity, safety and compassion remain at the heart of everything you do. You will work alongside our skilled multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support to patients and their families during some of the most important moments of their lives.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:

Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating individualised patient care.

Supporting patients, families and carers through sensitive and often complex situations.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Safely administering medicines and maintaining accurate clinical records.

Acting as a role model and supporting the development of colleagues and junior team members.

Participating in audit, quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:

Be a Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.

Have at least 12 months post-registration experience.

Have experience of working within a nursing team environment.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Have an understanding of the palliative care approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centred care.
