We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the overall hospitality experience we provide to our guests.
Private 1 Bedroom Flat Accommodation is available partially furnished and rent free and bill free.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the supervision of kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food production and service.
- Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies as needed and minimising waste.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Keep workstations clean and organised, adhering to health regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in food preparation or line cooking roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team within a hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork are crucial for success in this role.
