The Wimbledon Medical Service is a Private GP practice based in the heart of Wimbledon Village. The practice is part of The Family Treatment Service, a private mental health practice located 5 minutes apart in the Village. We opened The Family Treatment Service in February 2021 and Wimbledon Medical Service in May 2026.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our expanding team. This role will be predominately based at the Wimbledon Medical Service however will be cross trained to cover sickness/annual leave at The Family Treatment Service.
Job description: Part Time Receptionist
- 33 hours per week
- Monday - Saturday
- £32,000 Pro rata
The person would be required to do the following (not exclusive);
- Meeting and greeting patients on arrival
- Making Patients / visitors feel welcome and answering their questions
- Ensuring protocols for visitors are followed
- Answering phone calls, emails and inquiries
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
- Helping to manage the online booking system, collating appointments and offering appointment bookings at the reception desk
- Taking payments
- Proofreading reports and letters
- Maintain stock of supplies as needed
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail or deliveries
- Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
Skills and experience
- A minimum of one years experience in a similar role
- Good communication skills, friendly and polite
- Organised
- Good with computer systems
- Willingness to be flexible and work as part of a team
- Discrete
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
