Responsibilities
- Read and interpret roofing schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation and repairs
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently on various roofing projects
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to support project needs
- Execute roofing tasks including sealing, flashing, and waterproofing to ensure weather-resistant structures
- Assist with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other construction-related tasks as required for comprehensive roofing solutions
- Use welding techniques when necessary to secure metal components or structural supports
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on roofing projects or related fields such as carpentry or masonry
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints used in roofing or general construction
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of plumbing or masonry is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards at all times
- Prior experience with roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or waterproof membranes is highly desirable
