What jobs do we have on offer?
We currently have fully remote part-time positions available for those in Brighton, Hove and surrounding areas. Induction and initial training will be face to face in our Hove office, so although this is a fully remote role after initial training, you must be located within a commutable distance. When applying, the question "Are you able to reliably commute.." is in reference to this requirement.
You will be handling inbound customer service calls on behalf of our growing customer base. There would be an initial induction and training period for one week at our Hove office.
Working hours would be part time, for example 4 hours a day, Monday – Friday, but we are open to discussing what suits you. This role also includes every Saturday.
You will need to have a suitable, private working environment with a desk, a comfortable chair, and a reliable internet connection. We will provide a computer, peripherals, and a phone for you to use while working.
What do I need to know about working for you?
The calls you will be handling are all inbound (this is not a sales role and there is no cold calling). We take calls on behalf of hundreds of different private companies and several national charities. Your role will include taking messages, connecting calls through to customers, and sometimes processing orders.
We run a very straightforward and honest business. We expect our call team to work hard when we’re busy (you should expect to be handling calls for between 50% and 75% of your shift), but when we’re not, we give you the freedom to make use of this time for personal activities such as using the internet, reading a book, or studying in between answering calls and chats. We just need you to be reliable and committed to the role.
If you perform well, there’s no cap on your pay increases, bonuses, and progression within the company. We believe in rewarding those who are hardworking, have a good work ethic, and who can be relied upon by the rest of the team.
What skills do I need to work with you?
As you’ll be working on the phone and taking basic information from callers, we have simple requirements:
- Polite, friendly, and positive
- Able to speak English clearly and spell to an acceptable level
- Familiarity with typing on a computer
Do I need experience?
No. We don't require you to have experience as full training will be given.
What do I get paid?
We’re not shy when it comes to rewarding hard work. Once you’ve worked with us for 3 months, we’ll give you a £150 welcome bonus as a thank you for your commitment. You can also earn up to an additional £300 or more per month on our realistic and achievable bonus scheme.
Your starting salary will be pro-rated based on the full-time equivalent of £26,500 per year, with up to £3,000 in additional straightforward bonuses available and an annual review.
Is this job right for me?
If you are committed to working hard when it’s busy, are happy answering customer service calls, want to be rewarded financially for your hard work, enjoy the flexibility to use free time at work for personal things, and love working as part of a relaxed and friendly team, then yes, this job is right for you.
