Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tiler to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tile surfaces across various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and install tiles with precision according to project specifications and schematics
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate backing materials
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to execute tile installations
- Follow detailed schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate placement of tiles
- Perform construction painting as needed to prepare or finish surfaces before or after tiling
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to coordinate project tasks efficiently
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels
- Familiarity with power tools used in tiling and general construction work
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
