Job Summary
This role is 4 days per week, 8 hours per day. We are seeking a professional and friendly Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and letters.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organised reception area and desk, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Administrative duties including clerical tasks and processing monthly KPI data.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) as well as other IT applications for various daily administrative functions.
- Collaborate with colleagues at various sites to ensure smooth office operations.
Requirements
- Previous office or clerical experience is essential.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
- Administrative experience in a medical/Podiatry setting is preferred.
- Awareness of GDPR, data security, the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills are crucial for effective communication with service users and colleagues alike.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
