We are looking for an experienced HR advisor to join our team on a part time, 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
This role is key to supporting the people and operations pillars, providing HR advice and support to managers and employees while ensuring consistency and best practice.
The role is based on 27.5 hours per week across 5 days. Working hours are 9am – 3pm but can be reviewed depending on candidate requirements.

We specialise in mobile bodyshop solutions for minor vehicle damage carrying out repairs at locations convenient for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice
- Support managers with day-to-day people management
- Manage and support employee relations cases from start to finish
- Attend meetings and hearings, taking accurate and confidential notes
- Assist is preparing and sending documentation and correspondence relating to employee relations cases
- Support recruitment and onboarding including screening candidates, conducting interviews, preparing offer letters and contracts
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems
- Support the development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and development activities across the business
- Assist with the identification of training needs and development opportunities
- Assist in delivering internal communications and employee engagement activities
- Supporting the people team with HR and people team projects
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislatio
Essentials for the role:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor or HR Coordinator role
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management
- Is able to work autonomously and manage priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
