Tinnelly Group is a Demolition & Asbestos Removal company with various sites throughout Ireland. The company are currently recruiting a Stores / Yard Person to be based at their yard in Newry.
This is a hands on role where you will be required to work within all areas of the warehouse. You will also be involved in the running and development of the Stock Management and Asset tracking system.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Receiving and checking deliveries
· Checking delivery notes & following up any discrepancies
· Preparing orders that have been received for collection
· Keeping paperwork up to date on the stock system
· Stock control while maintaining accurate system information
· Maintaining the stores and ensuring everything has an allocated location
· Keeping stores and yard area clean and clear at all times
· Ad-hoc duties as they arise.
Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Have experience of working within stores / warehouse in the manufacturing or engineering industry
2. Be educated to GCSE level
3. Have a full driving license
4. Have a Forklift truck licence and experience of driving a forklift trick
5. Be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
6. Good communication & teamworking skills
7. Have experience of ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
8. Physically Fit and able for manual handling work coupled with the motivation and initiative to work alone at times.
Desirable criteria
Experience of stock control systems.
